On the 14^th January, 2009, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Mr. Xu Jianguo paid a special visit to Lekki Free Zone. Mr. Xu commended on the achievements so far and promised that the Chinese Government would ensure to be supportive to the zone development. He further stated that LFZ complies with eight Sino-African policies which would be important to promote Sino–African trade and economy.
