A Passage to China

China is one of the world’s ancient civilized countries with a long history and profound cultural accumulation.  It is filled with the wisdom of their ancestors in the following fields: politics, economy, culture, education, military, medicine, etc.  Since reform and opening, China’s economy has seen rapid development.  It stands tall in the Orient with its new posture.  As a result, China has not only been the world’s attention, but welcomes the arrival of the world’s people with her generous mind.  Then the world will know her secret. 
 

It is necessary for East and West to accommodate each other’s civilization and achievements of the system to their own experiences.  Only to promote the well-established tradition of creative transformation with mutual respect and continual process of reflection, and thoroughly abandon the self-centered closure and exchange equally, can the world be in an interdependent and pluralistic structure to pursue further harmonization of development and prosperity.
